We have two arenas in the municipality. The Minto Centennial Arena and the Chipman Centennial Arena. Our arenas provide recreation for children of all ages as well as adults, both in our municipality and the surrounding areas. Like many rural towns in New Brunswick, our arenas act as community centres where residents gather for hockey games and food, families spend time together during public skating, and many birthday parties are held.
Sports Fields
We have numerous facilities for sports throughout the Municipality. There is the Bernie Sisk Memorial Soccer Field at Chipman Forest Avenue School as well as the Minto Memorial High School Soccer Field. Baseball can be enjoyed at the Chipman Ball Field, the Gary Richard Ball Field, Miller Field (Black Diamond), or Holy Rosary Ball Field. Tennis courts are also located beside the Gary Richard Ball Field.
Bowling Alleys
If bowling is your interest, you can bowl at the Chipman Bowl-a-Rama or the Holy Rosary Bowling Lanes in Minto.
