Kayak and Paddle Board Rentals
We are pleased to offer kayak and paddle board rentals this summer at Stewart McLeod Park! Check the poster below for information and how to book! We hope to see you out on the water this summer.

Salmon River Bridge Upcoming Activities and Timelines

  • Completion of communications utility moves (by Bell and Rogers) – May 2024
  • Open single lane detour bridge to traffic – June 2024
  • Start demolition of existing bridge – June 2024
  • Start construction of new bridge (this can start during demo of existing bridge) – August 2024
  • Completion of new bridge and open to all traffic – Fall 2025
  • Contract completion (i.e. removal of trestle, detour bridge, and reinstatement of area to original conditions – Fall 2026

Urban Rural Rides Volunteer Drivers Needed

Communities in Bloom Judges are Coming to Chipman!

The Community of Chipman of the Municipality of Grand Lake, NB is participating in the 30th Edition of Communities in Bloom (CiB) in the Atlantic Edition population category.

The community will be rated from 1 to 5 Blooms, based on the scoring obtained.

The Communities in Bloom judges, Berta Briggs from Wetaskiwin AB and Seville Kwan from Fort McMurray AB, will evaluate Chipman on July 25-26-27 2024. The community would like to remind all businesses and residents to tidy up their property before the judges arrive.

The Atlantic Provincial, National and International results will beĀ announced in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island Canada from October 17th to 20th 2024, during theĀ National Symposium on Parks & Grounds and the Atlantic, National & International Awards.
